Congratulations to Dr. John Meier on achieving more than 30 years certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
This milestone demonstrates Dr. Meier’s longstanding commitment to staying current with the knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment essential for providing excellent patient care.
Dr. Meier joined in practice with Dr. Caroll Koscheski in Hickory in 1994. In 1996, Dr. Koscheski and Dr. Meier founded Gastroenterology Associates.
A native of Atlanta, Dr. Meier received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency and fellowship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
In addition to his ABIM certification, Dr. Meier is board-certified in gastroenterology and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
He has also been recognized by his peers with his selection to the
Best
Doctors in North Carolina list.
Dr. Meier serves on the medical staff of Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.
